I’m comfortable with doing anything that isn’t NSFW (mild NSFW is okay), I can do fan art, original characters, or real people. I can draw you from a photograph but please make sure there is a full body or multiple references with exactly how you’d like to be drawn (clothing, hair style, etc.) I can draw pets to go with characters, weapons, armour, and so fourth. If armour is too detailed some details may be simplified/include an extra charge, you will be notified ahead of time if this need to be done.

100% of payment is taken upfront. if for whatever reason your payment is on hold, your commission will not be started until the payment has cleared.

All commissions are subject to one free WIP at the sketch stage*. You will not be charged extra here as this is just the preliminary part, if changes are asked later it may be more difficult and additional charges will apply. Please feel free to be as critical as you like, this commission is for you! If there are any mistakes on my part (e.g., I missed a crucial part of the design) once the commission has been completed, I will fix it free of charge. This doesn’t include for example a change of pose, as the entire image would need to be redrawn and was something that should have been specified at the sketch stage.

*For pixel icons, I tend to work a little differently and go straight into the colours. I will still contact you before the animation stage (if selected) for you to make any changes if necessary. 

Additional WIPs will be available for +$10 CAD each.

Commissions are typically finished within three weeks. If additional time is needed due to my schedule, I will let you know before accepting your commission.

Rush orders are accepted, with an additional charge of up to 50% depending on when you need it. I still need a minimum of three days to complete your commission, so if the deadline is any sooner than that - I may decline your request.

Commissions are for personal use only. You can display it on your personal page, make edits to it to use on your website, etc. If you are unsure of whether you can use it for something, please just ask! No one else will be allowed to use your commission unless you give them permission to, again, for personal use only. 

Commissions for commercial purposes will come at a later time when I am able to hash out all the details, but for now I will not be taking them. This means that the artwork cannot appear on anything that will be sold.

The character(s) belongs to the commissioner, but as the artist I still have rights to the produced artwork to show as samples in the future (I will not be using them in any way commercially). Your commission will be watermarked when posted publicly, you will receive the unwatermarked PNG image.

If you are selling your rights away for the character to someone else, you cannot charge them more than what you paid me for the commission piece.

If you would like the commission to be private (i.e., I will not post it anywhere,) please let me know beforehand. An additional $100 fee will be charged for this.

For any reason you need a refund in the middle of the commission process, here is the following amount that will be refunded to you minus any fees:

Fully shaded and completed: 0% (no refunds on completed artworks)

Once payment has been confirmed, I will begin working on your commission. The initial sketch will be sent to your email for approval. Once approved, I will finish up your commission and send you the completed drawing in full resolution.

Character reference sheets, mood boards, sample of poses / angles / expressions, any other relevant files or links. Please make sure you include all parts of the outfit as I will be creating a full body drawing for you!

Pose, traits, multiple characters, add-ons, etc.

Displaying them on stream is totally OK and does not require an extra charge! They just cannot be mass produced on anything that is sold.

Character reference sheets, PSD for rigging, mood boards, sample of poses / angles / expressions, any other relevant files or links.

Pixel Art Request Form

More detailed characters may have an additional charge. If you are unsure of whether your character counts as being too detailed, please don't hesitate to shoot me up a message at xiumaiart@gmail.com! For reference, the first and second examples count as a detailed design while the other three don't. At the moment, backgrounds are not being offered. If you would like an additional file with solid background colour, just let me know and I can include it for free in addition to the transparent .PNG file.

Cursors using the same standing base you see in the samples

x1 .PNG (static) or .GIF (animated) file (no cursor) per facial expression

x10 .CUR (static) or .10 ANI (animated) files

If you have different facial expressions in mind, feel free to request it (one expression available per cursor set, or multiple (up to one per icon) facial expressions at an additional charge.) Additional facial expressions can only be applied to a different cursor and cannot be exported as multiple cursor sets.

Please include a fully coloured full body reference for your character!
