Terms of Service for Faenatical/Elfoppai

I reserve the right to decline or cancel a commission for any reason.

Please have some form of visual reference image for me to work off of. In-game screenshots are OK as long as they are clear and easy to understand. I request that any screenshots are captured with neutral lighting and with minimal special effects or filters. Also please make sure to provide close ups (or reference photos) of smaller details such as tattoos, jewelry, accessories, etc. so that I may depict them as accurately as I possibly can.

I reserve the right to reuse sketches and design elements that were rejected by the commissioner for other commissions or personal works (this includes multi-slot YCHs)

An additional fee may be added based on the complexity of the character's design and/or additional alts/variations. Starting at $10 USD.

By default, all commissioned works are for 

If at any point you desire a refund, please be aware that you will only receive a partial refund depending on how much work I have already completed.

If I have not begun your piece after 30 days from when the full payment was confirmed, you may request a full refund.

For amounts greater than $300 USD, you may request a payment plan. This will be determined on a case by case basis and will depend on the total price and both you (the commissioner) and my (the artist) circumstances.

I reserve the right to cancel a commission. If I cancel the commission due to my inability to complete it at any state, a full refund will be given.

Failure to pay the second half of the payment will result in cancellation of your commission. 

I will keep the initial 50% payment and you will receive the work that has been completed up until that point.

I will do my best to keep clients updated on the progression of their piece. I will show the client work in progress (WIP) images to confirm if the details are to their liking.

I cannot move forward without the client's confirmation first (

), so please make sure to respond to these WIP updates.

All revisions are to be done during the sketch phase or before lining. Minor revisions like color adjustment are acceptable afterwards and are free.

Clients are allowed 3 free revisions and it must be done in the sketch phase. Additional revisions are $10 USD each. Additional revisions after the sketch phase vary between $20-50 USD each, depending on the revision.

I will not do any revisions once the piece is completed.

Unless the client has purchased a separate commercial fee, I, the artist (

) will retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. The client may not claim it as their own or use it for anything outside of personal use.

The client has permission to repost the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given. This includes using commissioned work for icons, wallpapers, graphics etc.

Clients are not permitted to use any commissioned artwork for any profits associated with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrency.

Character reference sheets, mood boards, any other relevant files or links.

An additional fee may be added based on the complexity of the character's design. Starting at 

 service - meaning I (the artist) will have full creative freedom and you will only receive the finished result within the provided timeframe! 

You may request a theme or provide a description of your character in the form, but this is a zero-contact paid commission!

If you intend to use my art for anything 

 (i.e. business, merch, monetized content online, etc), we can discuss and negotiate pricing. But generally, 

I still retain the rights to any artwork I produce and may use it however I see fit. If the client wishes to retain full rights to the art piece, then I am open to negotiating.

Turnaround time may vary, but will generally be around 15-30 days. I'll communicate with you and keep you updated should anything come up that may affect the completion of your piece.
